BUILDING AUTOMATION

Software engineering for building automation

Integrators and controls teams: discuss a proposed review of point lists or integration mappings for one subsystem. Crew Bravo is developing its building management systems (BMS) practice, building on established software and integration experience.

PROPOSED PILOT

Do the point list and mappings match the requirements?

A possible point and integration QA pilot would compare supplied configuration data with approved requirements for one subsystem. The proposed findings report would identify missing or inconsistent details, supporting evidence, and what still needs your controls team’s review. We’d agree the checks and confirm whether we can take on the task before work begins.

PROPOSED REVIEW PROCESS

From a specific question to findings your team can review

For a suitable pilot, we’d agree the following process with your team before starting.

  1. 01

    Define the review

Agree the subsystem, requirements, checklist, controls reviewer, and limits.

  2. 02

    Review supplied data

Compare the agreed point list or configuration export with approved requirements.

  3. 03

    Document the findings

Record evidence and which agreed checks passed, failed, or were not assessed, with reasons.

  4. 04

    Review the open questions

Discuss what needs clarification or further investigation with your controls lead.

ENGINEERING BACKGROUND

Established engineering experience. A developing BMS practice.

Here’s the experience we bring and the BMS capabilities we’re building.

ESTABLISHED EXPERIENCE

Software and systems engineering

Our established background includes software engineering, cloud, networking, diagnostics, and API and system integration. Working with data exchanged between systems is the engineering experience we’re bringing to building automation.

DEVELOPING PRACTICE

Building automation and BMS

We’re developing hands-on BMS experience, including BACnet, Modbus, platform practice, and field work. We’d discuss our relevant experience openly before agreeing a task. The proposed data review does not establish plant or commissioning readiness.

Our initial market focus is conversations with integrators and controls teams in the Netherlands.

SUPPORTING CAPABILITIES

Software and integration experience for data and tooling tasks

Software, cloud, AI, and knowledge-system work remains part of our engineering practice. If your question involves data exchange or tooling, we can discuss the relevant experience and scope alongside your team.

START WITH YOUR QUESTION

Have an integration task in mind?

Tell us what you’d like to review and which subsystem is involved, if known. A short description is enough to start discussing fit, scope, and the next step. An inquiry does not commit you to a pilot.
